Job Introduction

In a Nutshell

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant.

The Accounts Assistant is a fundamental part of a small finance team who will be required to assist with the day to day reporting and transactions of the hotel.

Supporting managers with the ordering system to ensure efficient purchase ledger processing

INDHP

Role Responsibility

1. Processing all purchase invoices in line with company procedures
2. Collating PO’s and delivery notes and ensuring that all invoices are posted correctly
3. Monthly and ad hoc payment runs
4. Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
5. Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
6. Processing journals
7. Developing a good working relationship with all departments of the hotel to enable effective communication and team work
8. Any additional ad hoc jobs required to support the team, which could include revenue and assisting the sales ledger

The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

Our ideal Accounts Assistant will...

9. Ideally studying towards AAT or similar qualification or experience,
10. Good understanding of Hotel software and Systems
11. Good understanding of Excel
12. Understanding of Sage Intacct and Procure Wizard would be an advantage
13. Self motivator, with attention to detail, used to working to tight deadlines
14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
15. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
16. Can use initiative and have problem solving skills
17. Excellent telephone manner

Knowledge of the following systems is desirable but not essential:

19. Procure Wizard
20. HART Property Management System
