Location: Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services, 4 Livingstone Boulevard, Blantyre, G72 0BP
Hourly Rate: £13.33 - £13.79
1 permanent 34 hour post with work pattern of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7.30am - 5pm
1 permanent 19 hour post with work pattern of Thursday and Friday 7am - 5.30pm
Community & Enterprise Resources are currently looking to recruit 2 Vehicle Yard Operatives to join our Fleet Services Team.
Fleet Services are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Councils Fleet of over 1700 vehicles and items of Plant.
As a Vehicle Yard Operative, you will meet visiting drivers at the entrance and direct them to suitable parking bays, you will assist with directing and reversing and other manoeuvres in the commercial yard and you will promote and assist with housekeeping of the yard.
You must be polite, courteous, and willing to help.
For this vacancy, a full driving licence is essential.
