Senior Drainage and SUDS Engineer - Multiple UK locations (Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol. Leeds, London, etc)
Our client, and Global Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy, and a leading name in Surface Water Management (SWM), is seeking a Senior Drainage & SUDS Engineer to join their national team.
With multiple opportunities available across various locations in the UK, including Epsom, Bristol, Cardiff, Warrington, Scotland, Belfast, Leeds, Manchester, and Birmingham, you will have the chance to work on major projects with a diverse range of clients. As part of this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital services and innovative engineering solutions in the field of Surface Water Management and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS).
The Role:
As a Senior Drainage & SUDS Engineer, you will:
1. Produce drainage infrastructure design packages
2. Develop drainage design solutions on multi-disciplinary projects
3. Ensure compliance with the CDM Regulations and safety requirements
4. Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget
5. Deliver technical presentations to promote SUDS expertise
6. Prepare proposals for project opportunities
7. Mentor and develop junior team members
8. Coordinate with other disciplines and site teams
Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
9. Chartered status (ICE or CIWEM)
10. Experience in drainage design, including SUDS
11. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Hydraulic modelling (Microdrainage and/or Civils 3D)
12. Working knowledge of the CDM Regulations
13. Proven track record in delivering projects to a high standard
14. Excellent written and oral communication skills
15. A passion for developing innovative and sustainable solutions
