We’re looking for a New Business Manager (Field) to drive new customer acquisition across domestic and international parcels. This is a front-line, results-focused role where you’ll own the full sales cycle, build a strong pipeline, and convert opportunities into long-term customers. About the role • Identify, target and secure profitable new business opportunities across your sales region • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation, contract and onboarding • Build and manage a robust 12–18 month sales pipeline aligned to new business targets • Deliver revenue, contribution, volume and AUR targets in line with the sales plan • Promote Royal Mail products, services, campaigns and new solutions to win new traffic • Manage a balanced mix of domestic and international parcels to optimise revenue and contribution • Ensure new traffic is approved and compliant with network and commercial guidelines • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting in line with sales standards About you • A proven background in new business sales within eCommerce, parcels, courier or express environments • Strong track record of winning and closing new business against clear revenue targets • Commercially astute, with confidence negotiating pricing and commercial terms • Comfortable prospecting and generating leads via phone, email, virtual and face-to-face meetings • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence senior decision-makers • Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work independently in a field-based role • Confident using CRM systems and sales data to manage pipeline and performance • GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths qualification (desirable) Extra Benefits • Family friendly support - enhanced maternity pay, paternity leave, adoption leave and shared parental leave • Discounts and offers - there are more than 800 offers to help you save on things like groceries, days out, holidays and your household bills*. • Supportive and generous company sick pay • Your Wellbeing - you and your family have 24/7 access to services and tools to help you get the most out of life.
