Kersey Freight Limited are a long-standing British road haulage company operating a fleet of 83 trucks and 260 trailers from our head office in Hadleigh (Suffolk). We are currently looking for a Transport Administrator to work in our busy operations team.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience coupled with excellent administration skills. The role will demand focused customer service liaising directly with appointed contacts along with using multiple systems to ensure the smooth processing and administration of all bookings. A high attention to detail will be required along with the ability to plan and manage demands from the client. Working under pressure and having the ability to manage the workloads on a daily basis will be an important part of this role.
Holding a relationship with our client's contacts and developing them over the length of the contracts will be crucial. The role is heavily focused around administration using multiple systems and also updating and keeping client contacts updated on progress of daily shipments. This role will be best suited to somebody who can work well under pressure whilst maintaining a good eye for detail and efficiency. You will also be required to utilise our In-House Transport Management System, for which full training will be provided.
A proven track record working for a haulage company with experience would be beneficial, with good geographical knowledge and understanding of our industry.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8:00hrs to 17:30hrs.
Starting salary of dependent on experience.
