Are you ready to shape the future of digital marketing at Amazon? In this role, you'll drive our mission to build the Amazon brand through innovative, measurable, and high-impact digital programmatic campaigns, strategic development, operation and automation improvements in the digital media space.

The Digital Media Manager role is multi-faceted. You will support two key workstreams:

* Digital Media Planning and Buying: develop MODE’s in‑house YouTube and Programmatic capabilities, work with external and internal agencies, the internal Amazon DSP team, and other Prime and Marketing Performance teams to drive the most effective Brand Campaigns, and deliver guidance on paid digital media frameworks, strategy development and digital acceleration projects for overarching Pan‑EU campaign implementation across 1P, 2P and 3P digital campaigns.
* Digital Operations: work closely with the wider media planning team and external agency to develop operational improvements to process, AI implementation and planning and buying efficiencies to evolve how Amazon delivers digital media to its customers.


A Day in the Life

* Start your day connecting with the MODE and XCM Media teams over coffee to align on priorities and discuss urgent campaign needs. Review overnight performance across all EU programmatic digital campaigns, identifying optimization opportunities and flagging issues with the Digital Media Specialist and agency partners.
* Continue with planning alignment sessions, review activation plans for upcoming Pan‑EU brand campaigns, provide expert guidance on programmatic capabilities and YouTube strategies with internal and external agencies, and meet with internal stakeholders from Prime and Marketing Performance teams to ensure alignment on cross‑functional initiatives and measurement approaches.
* In the afternoon, focus on operational excellence development, campaign reporting and programmatic testing workstreams. Build AI tools and automation improvements to enhance planning, buying and reporting efficiencies. Complete post‑campaign analysis, discuss results with Media Leads, and incorporate learnings into the Digital test & learn roadmap.
* Conclude the day with final performance reviews, prepare reports for your MODE Team Lead, and ensure the Digital Media Specialist has clear direction for tomorrow.


About the Team

We're seeking a dynamic Digital Media Manager to join our EU Marketing & Prime organization in London. You'll be part of the MODE (Media Operations, Data & Execution) team, a specialized unit within our EU XCM (Cross‑Channel, Cross‑Country Marketing) Media team, and lead innovative, measurable, high‑impact cross‑channel campaigns.


Basic Qualifications

* Extensive knowledge and experience working with external partners/agencies on media and digital media campaigns, owning end‑to‑end strategy, planning, buying and reporting.
* Very deep working knowledge of programmatic buying platforms (DV360, ADSP, TTD), campaign management tools, and the YouTube advertising ecosystem, and exceptional knowledge of planning and buying digital campaigns.
* Excellent working experience across global digital media strategy, across FMCG or Retail focused accounts or Lines of Business.
* Deep strategic knowledge of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data for digital media channel deployment.
* Proven track record of delivering high‑quality digital media campaign strategy in very dynamic environments – a focus on brand and upper funnel strategy is vital.
* Excellent understanding and knowledge of digital media: platform use, audience understanding, targeting capabilities.
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including working with budgets and numbers.
* Capable of accurate and diligent budget management with regular financial reporting.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
* Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.


Preferred Qualifications

* Media agency experience or in‑house agency experience.
* AI tool proficiency and a passion to learn.
* Previous experience coaching junior employees.
* Self‑motivated and flexible in dynamic working environments.
* Bias for action in a fast‑paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
* Very strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
* Experience in advertising operations or media planning.
* Understanding of creative development process and media planning.
* Good knowledge of working with influencer focused creative.
* Highly detail‑oriented, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi‑task.
