Role Overview:
Human Resources ("HR") is a global organizationprised of more than 4,000 professionals providing strategic human capital advisory support to Citi's business leaders in multiple industries across all 96 countries of operation. Within this context, Human Resources is responsible for the development and delivery of core HR programs including: sourcing qualified talent; assisting managers to apply effective employee selection practices; establishing appropriate terms and conditions of employment; developing effective new employee on-boarding; training employees; assessing employee job performance and talent; developing manager leadership capability; succession and resource planning; measuring employee sentiment; escalating and/or investigating potential employee misconduct and mechanism for employee corrective action; developing strategies to discontinue employment, as well as maintaining marketpetitivepensation, benefits and recognition programs intended to reward good performance and retain talented employees. Many of these programs, processes, underlying data, and associated requirements are highly regulated,erned by policy and attract substantial legal, operational and strategic risk.

The HR Controls Testing Utility is responsible for testing controls that are designed and executed by HR. The team partners with the rest of the Controls organization to evaluate new and existing controls that mitigate operational risks; investigate causes for results that deviate from trends;municate MCA results and trends to senior leadership and drive continuous improvements in quality and efficiency of controls environment.

The Control Design Assessor assesses HR's controls to determine whether the stated control objective is appropriate in the context of the inherent risk associated with the underlying process and whether the control has been adequately designed to meet the objective of either preventing or mitigating the risk. The Assessor is expected to drive continuous improvements and standardization in quality and efficiency of controls environment across HR.

What you'll do:
1. Conduct routine testing of internal activities and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards and identify areas of risk or nonpliance
2. Review and respond to stakeholder/client feedback
3. Respond to any quality control findings in a timely and efficient manner
4. Develop ongoing Monitoring and Testing tools for controls
5. Support reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders
6. Have a good understanding of the Citi Risk & control framework and the underlying fundamentals on Risk Management
7. Partner with wider HR Central Testing Utility team to achieve mutual goals
8. Identify any testing/monitoring breaks and suggest enhancements
What we'll need from you:
9. Several years of experience in operational risk management,pliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry
10. Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls
11. Strong knowledge in the development and execution for controls
12. Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry
13. Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes
14. Understanding ofpliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices
15. Strong analytical skills to evaluateplex risk and control activities and processes
16. Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level
17. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
18. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Education:
20. Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
