This part-time role (24 hrs per week) offers flexible working hours across 7 days, including early mornings (starting at 6am), evenings (up to 11pm), weekends, University closure days, and Bank holidays.
This position will be based on the University campus. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
The University of Leeds has recently invested £9.3 million into its outdoor sporting facilities at the Sports Park Boddington site, including a new Football Community Pavilion and three FIFA Quality 3G Rubber Crumb pitches. Recent projects also include a £5.2 million investment into the Brownlee Centre and a 1.6km closed road circuit.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will assist in managing the daily operations of outdoor sport facilities and supervise operational staff on shift. Your responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service, safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of the facilities at all times.
Applicants should have proven supervisory experience in a sports or leisure facility, with a track record of maintaining high standards in facility presentation and customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A relevant first aid qualification and food hygiene certificate are required.
