Job Description
Lead Clinician to manage the in-house Clinical Team at Claystone School (Bedfordshire LU1 4LL). The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role is split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs (autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH). Meeting EHCP needs will be a primary focus, using target-led, group and individual clinical approaches embedded into our practice. The postholder will coordinate line management of onsite clinicians and lead on service development of the school-based clinical service, alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the in-house Clinical Team; coordinate line management and contribute to service development.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles of need (autism, neurodivergence, trauma, SEMH).
* Collaborate with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to align clinical practice with EHCP goals.
* Maintain a safeguarding-centered, pupil-first approach across all activities.
Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy or Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration and RCSLT/BPS membership as applicable.
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or complex needs; evidence of supervision and team support.
* Clear, concise clinical and research reporting; ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service.
* Experience of multi-professional collaboration; line management experience preferred.
Benefits & Structure
* Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm
* Contract: Permanent (term-time flexibility can be discussed)
* Salary: £50,000–£60,000 pro rata, DOE
