Duty Manager – Cinema Venue - Up to £38,000
We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager/Assistant Manager to join a vibrant cinema venue in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
This is a hands-on operational role where you will oversee the daily running of the venue, managing both the food & beverage and retail offering while ensuring excellent service standards.
The Role:
1. Leading and supporting a team of around 7 team members
2. Reporting directly to the General Manager
3. Managing the day-to-day operations on the floor
4. Driving sales and upselling opportunities across food, beverage and retail
5. Ensuring a high standard of customer experience and service delivery
6. Supporting the smooth running of both cinema screenings and guest services
7. The role will involve varied shifts including mornings and evenings, so flexibility is required.
About You:
8. Previous experience within cinemas, theatres, entertainment venues, or a strong hospitality background
9. A customer-first mindset with excellent people skills
10. Confident leading and motivating a team
11. Commercially aware with a natural ability for upselling and driving revenue
12. Passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences
13. An interest in cinema and entertainment would be highly desirable
