Housekeeper Housekeeping - Aspen Court Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40 Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located on the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, Somerset. The home provides specialist Nursing, Dementia and Complex Care for up to 42 residents in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care. Housekeeper £12.21 per hour 40 hours per week Shift times: 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (30 minute unpaid break) Working 4 days per week Pension, Paid DBS, Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract The Role As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff. Your work will help ensure the home remains comfortable and hygienic while supporting the wellbeing and dignity of residents. You will carry out domestic cleaning duties throughout the home, including cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms and equipment while following infection prevention and hygiene standards. You will also support laundry services, ensuring residents’ personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly. Working closely with the wider team, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation while contributing to a positive and welcoming environment within the home.
