A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Pastry Chef de Partie to join an exceptional, sustainability-led kitchen set within a beautifully restored 400-acre estate in the Hampshire countryside.
This is far more than a standard pastry role - it's a chance to work in a truly ingredient-led environment where seasonality, creativity, and sustainability are at the heart of everything. The estate operates its own biodynamic farm, with chefs regularly engaging directly with the land to shape menus inspired by the freshest fruits, herbs, and flowers available.
Awarded a Michelin Green Star, the kitchen champions a refined yet natural approach to pastry, allowing high-quality ingredients to speak for themselves through elegant, thoughtful execution.
The Role
Working closely with a passionate pastry team, the Senior Chef de Partie will play a key role in delivering a constantly evolving pastry offering across restaurant service, afternoon tea, and in-room dining.
This position suits a chef who thrives in a creative, produce-driven environment and is confident working with changing menus, seasonal ingredients, and high standards of execution.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver high-quality desserts, breads, and ice creams for restaurant service
Take ownership of a pastry section, ensuring consistency and precision during service
Produce refined cakes and pastries for a seasonally driven afternoon tea offering
Contribute to the development of new dishes in line with the estate's sustainable ethos
Work closely with the farm and kitchen team to utilise seasonal produce at its peak
Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, organisation, and food safety
Adapt to a frequently changing menu, embracing feedback and continuous improvement
About You
Currently working as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie within a quality-led kitchen
Passionate about seasonal, sustainable cooking and ingredient-led menus
Strong technical pastry skills with a creative yet refined approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced but detail-focused environment
A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
Organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards
