Phoenix Futures is seeking passionate and solution-focused Criminal Justice Recovery Workers to join our Lambeth Service. In partnership with SLaM, we aim to enhance our support for clients involved in the Criminal Justice system who are seeking treatment and support for substance use.
The role involves acting as the first point of contact for residents in Lambeth, assessing, engaging, and resettling service users into treatment and community support services, maximizing their engagement upon release. You will work across criminal justice settings, including prisons, probation offices, outreach, custody suites, and the community.
The ideal candidate will help shape our psychosocial offerings for clients with offending behavior and substance issues, including DRR and ATR. Knowledge of recovery, care planning, relapse prevention, and the ability to build relationships with internal and external agencies are essential. Experience in group facilitation and working with vulnerable adults with substance and alcohol issues is also required.
We seek self-motivated individuals who can work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be dynamic, forward-thinking, and insightful into preventative and early intervention methods.
