Overview Overview Location: Hybrid; Home/ Lookers Head Office North East (Maingate TVTE) Working hours: 37.5; Monday- Friday 09:00-17:00 Salary: £25,000 Helen Gallimore (Group Credit Control Manager) is on the hunt for a 'Group Fleet Credit Controller' to come and join her well established team within a hybrid role. Working alongside three Group Credit Controllers and a Group Ledger Administrator, in the role you will be responsible for the collection of fleet debt within the Lookers group. You will work to target and ensure payment is received within terms, assisting with invoice queries and liaising with account managers, fleet departments and dealerships daily. You will be required to manage credit risk, debt recovery and sales/supplier account set up across the wider Lookers Group as and when required. Your core stakeholders will include the group fleet division, dealerships and head office finance teams. You will develop and embed policy, evolve best practice, ensure a consistent approach as well as produce value add management information. This role focuses on minimising risk and ensuring our Group's Credit Control Policy is adhered to. Responsibilities Working to target, collecting fleet debt within terms. Ensure queried invoices are addressed and rectified in a timely manner Reporting weekly debt figures to management Implementing credit risk policy across the Lookers Group whilst controlling credit decisions Managing and maintaining the group's master debtor file and creditor file Developing and implementing group wide sales ledger and debt management information and distributing management information on a monthly basis Qualifications We are on the hunt for a candidate who has prior Credit Control experience, this is your opportunity to put your Credit Control expertise to this test It is essential that you have the appetite to be an integral part of our team responsible for delivering meaningful change. You must also have the flair in delivering 1st class customer service and be highly organised We are also looking for an individual who is experienced and competent using all Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, if you also have Kerridge experience that's extra ticks for you (however, don't worry this isn't essential).
