About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fostering Social Worker to join our team on a fixed-term basis until September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive fostering service while developing your professional skills within a collaborative environment.
The role requires 3 days onsite working per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake comprehensive fostering assessments (Kinship and/or Mainstream carers)
* Provide supervision and ongoing support to approved foster carers
* Contribute to care planning, placement stability, and safeguarding
* Complete high-quality reports within required timescales
* Participate in team meetings and multi-agency working
* Potential involvement in developmental work within the team, depending on service needs and experience
