We're hiring a Head of Product to own product strategy and execution as we scale our fleet intelligence platform.
We're a seed-stage company (raised $4.3M in August 2024) building the intelligence layer for commercial fleets. Fleet managers lose billions to fragmented data and manual work. We unify their data, quantify savings opportunities, and automate decisions with AI.
This is a new leadership role created to accelerate product as we scale. You'll own product execution while our founder focuses on vision and go-to-market. You'll establish product discipline as we grow the engineering team.
What you'll do
* Own the product roadmap and prioritisation
* Translate vision into clear product requirements (data ingestion, harmonisation, simulation, AI recommendations)
* Define success metrics and quality bars
* Protect focus through evidence-based prioritisation
* Get in front of customers to understand their workflows and pain points
* Bring product insight to commercial conversations
* Set criteria for when commercial opportunities inform product priorities
* Bridge and challenge both commercial and technical teams
What you'll need
* First product hire experience: You built products from scratch at an early-stage startup with no playbook and limited resources. You wrote the first specs, ran the first customer calls, made the hard tradeoffs.
* 0-1 builder who became a leader: You earned product leadership through impact, not title. You work hands-on while building foundations for scale.
* Commercial instincts: You understand where value lies for customers and can accelerate revenue by bringing product clarity to sales conversations.
* Technical credibility: Comfortable debating engineers about feasibility, data architecture, and technical tradeoffs. You don't code but you're technical enough to earn respect and make smart decisions about a data platform.
* Strong product judgment: Opinionated about great product experiences. Track record of shipping things customers love.
* Bias to action: Evidence-driven with crisp success definitions, comfortable moving fast with incomplete information.
Nice to have
* Experience with data platforms (ingestion, transformations, APIs, data quality)
* Background in B2B SaaS for operations, fleet management, or logistics
* Worked closely with technical founders or CTOs at seed stage
Benefits
* Competitive base salary for early-stage startup (with room to grow as we scale)
* Meaningful equity stake, granted under the UK's tax-advantaged EMI scheme
* 33 days paid time off (25 days holiday + 8 public holidays)
* Private healthcare (medical, dental, optical)
* Hybrid working (3 days/week in our dog-friendly office in Eccleston Yards)
* £50/month wellness allowance
