 
        
        We’re looking for an experienced Residential Children’s Worker to join one of our Ofsted‑registered Therapeutic Children’s Homes in Crewe as an inspiring Team Leader.
At Homes for Support, you’ll be part of a growing team that provides nurturing, trauma‑informed care to children and young people aged 5–18 with emotional and behavioural needs. As a key member of our team, you’ll guide and support your shift team while creating safe, structured environments where children can thrive.

What you’ll be doing:
 * Providing warm, consistent care in line with safeguarding & therapeutic practices
 * Supporting education, routines, and emotional development
 * Promoting life skills – cooking, budgeting, independence
 * Leading shifts, supervising colleagues, and role‑modeling best practice
 * Supporting home operations – logs, reports, and regulatory compliance
 * Working closely with families, social workers, and external partners
What you’ll bring:
 * A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or Health and Social Care Level 3 or equivalent)
 * Previous experience in residential childcare
 * Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
 * Confidence in managing challenging situations and supporting complex needs
 * A real commitment to child‑centred, therapeutic care
