Halliday Marx has partnered with an exceptional boutique asset management firm to hire an Assistant Management Accountant on an interim basis for 9 months.
Hours are 9-6
This role is fully office-based
This role is likely to become permanent
Responsibilities
* Monthly journals, prepayments & accruals, loan apportionment, intercompany recharges, depreciation & amortisation, etc.
* Monthly bank reconciliations and daily posting of bank transactions to GL
* Group loan debtor analysis and presenting unresolved variances to the management accountant
* Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
* Posting transactions to the group fixed asset registers
* Preparation of VAT returns and payroll
* Posting invoices, assigning cost approvers, chasing aged debt, resolving billing queries
* Ad hoc analysis of the P&L and Balance Sheet
Requirements
* At least 2 years of finance experience within a small company
* Experience with small accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage 50, etc.)
* Experience with accruals & prepayments
* Reconciliation experience
