Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Services Co-ordinator within the Division of Medicine, based at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
With support from the Lead Manager, senior managers, and clinicians, the post holder will be responsible for the daily operational management of medical staffing issues and rota coordination. Key aspects include developing, coordinating, and managing all on-call rotas within the Medicine Division. The post holder will produce and manage the on-call roster through the Health Roster electronic system, support the coordination and management of ward clerk team including PADRs, sickness, and recruitment. The post will work within the Operational Management Team with support from the Lead Manager to monitor training rotas twice yearly, ensuring compliance with the New Deal and EWTR standards.
Excellent written and communication skills, along with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, are essential.
Main Duties:
* Manage the administration and clerical/clinical staff within the Division daily.
* Support the Medicine Management Team in ensuring sound administrative processes to achieve operational objectives efficiently.
* Prioritize work effectively and communicate clearly.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; applications in Welsh are welcome.

Person Specification
Qualifications:
* Degree level Management or equivalent experience
* High-level administration experience
* RSA3 or AMSPAR qualification
Desirable:
* Professional Management Qualification
* Currently pursuing NHS Management qualification
Experience:
* Extensive staff management experience
* Experience managing financial resources
* Knowledge of IT systems and waiting list management
* Understanding of junior medical working patterns
* Experience handling complex or sensitive issues
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
