Role details
We are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join an established Facilities Management (FM) company on a mobile basis, covering a North West patch, with the main site based in the Merseyside area. This is a temporary position working primarily within plant rooms on commercial boilers and associated systems.

Salary: £24-£26ph paid weekly
Contract: Temporary, mobile role
We would be interested in speaking to any candidates with titles such as Commercial gas engineer, Commercial gas technician, or Gas technician.
Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on commercial gas boilers, plant room equipment, and associated mechanical systems.
* Perform fault-finding, servicing, and repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
* Conduct gas safety checks and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Complete service reports, update records, and liaise with helpdesk/management teams as required.
* Support with general building services maintenance as needed.
Requirements
* Valid ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, etc.).
* Proven experience working on commercial boilers and plant room systems within a commercial or FM environment.
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence (mobile role).
