Lead Business Analyst – Technical, AML, Process Mapping, Data Mapping, API, ETL, Financial Services – Northampton – £65,000 - £75,000 base + Bonus & Benefits
My client, a leading Financial Services organisation based in Northampton, is currently seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join a major regulatory-driven transformation programme on a permanent basis.
You’ll be working within a fast-paced environment to help bridge strategic objectives with day-to-day operational execution— Leading the design and delivery of new processes and systems. Your work will underpin the successful rollout of scalable, future-proof solutions across multiple business areas including Financial Crime as well as some Reg Tech projects.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a large team (10+) responsible for eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements to support the design and implementation of new processes and systems. The role requires someone who brings a strong understanding of business readiness, change impact, and end-to-end delivery models.

* Experience in large-scale transformation programmes within a Financial Service Environment
* Experience Leading medium to large BA Teams
* Proven ability to operate in complex, regulated environments
* Solid understanding of AML or Financial Crime, or related regulatory frameworks
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus
* Deep understanding of change impacts, business readiness, and structured delivery
* Confident working across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
* Strong documentation skills – able to produce high-quality requirements, process maps, and analysis artefacts
