I am currently recruiting on behalf of an end user in Leicester, who's looking for a D365FO Functional Consultant to join their ERP team on a permanent basis. It's a hybrid role with 3 days in the office. Please see below for more information:
* Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant with strong experience across Finance and Warehouse Operations to join our internal IT team.
* The D365FO Consultant will play a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimising my clients D365 F&O platform across key business areas, ensuring the system continues to meet operational and financial needs as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the internal subject matter expert for D365 F&O Finance, Supply Chain and Warehouse Management modules.
* Provide first and second-line support to internal users and triage more complex issues to the MSP where needed.
* Liaise with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, translate them into system requirements, and validate proposed solutions.
* Perform minor configuration changes, user acceptance testing, and process optimisation using standard D365 functionality.
* Collaborate with in-house technical team and the MSP on the delivery of changes, ensuring specifications are well documented, tested, and deployed to the production environment with minimal disruption.
* Support periodic processes such as month-end close, stock take, and audit reporting through system enablement.
* Maintain documentation including business process flows, functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 2+ years demonstrable experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, specifically within Finance and Warehouse/Inventory Management.
* Sound knowledge of key business processes such as GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, period end close, inventory movements, stock control, receiving, picking, and shipping.
* Confident in performing system configuration, functional testing, and preparing user documentation.
