Overview
Yard Sales Assistant - Aberystwyth. Join our friendly and hard-working team as a frontline team member, dealing with customers who visit our yard. As part of the branch team, you’ll play a vital role in our continued success by delivering first-class service every day.
Responsibilities
* Building strong relationships with customers by providing helpful, friendly service – you’ll likely get to know many of them by name.
* Working outside, processing customer orders, loading and unloading both customer and company vehicles.
* Unloading building products from supplier deliveries and accurately booking them into the branch warehouse.
* Operating a forklift (experience is great, but training is provided).
* Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times, with safety as your top priority.
Qualifications / Skills
This is a customer-facing role, so the main thing we’re looking for is the ability to provide great service – we can teach you the rest.
* Physically active, comfortable working outside, and able to lift heavy building materials.
* Friendly, outgoing, and happy to communicate face to face with customers.
* Adaptable, resilient, and tenacious, with high levels of energy and drive.
* Someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
