Funds Paralegal – Top-Tier International Law Firm (London)
An elite international law firm is seeking a Funds Paralegal to join its highly regarded team in London. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in complex, cross-border investment fund matters while working closely with high-profile clients in the financial services sector.
This role will be offered as an initial 12 month FTC.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and process amendments to fund agreements and related legal documents
Review and manage subscription agreements and investor data
Maintain trackers and checklists to monitor investor activity and deadlines
Prepare closing sets and assist in legal opinion processes
Handle daily client correspondence and document flow
Perform legal research and market/company analysis
Work with Excel to calculate investment amounts and manage numerical data
Proofread and quality-check legal documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of funds experience within a law firm
Degree-qualified (2:1 or above or equivalent); GDL required if degree is non-legal
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive mindset
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to handle high email volumes and multitask effectively
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Team-oriented with a willingness to support on both administrative and complex tasks
