This is a full-time role starting immediately and continuing through to September 2026, offering consistency and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.About the RoleYou will be working within a KS2 provision unit, supporting pupils with additional needs, including low-level behavioural challenges, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, or learning difficulties.Your role will involve:Providing 1:1 and small group supportSupporting pupils in accessing the curriculum in a structured and nurturing environmentManaging and de-escalating low-level behavioural situationsWorking closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategiesEncouraging engagement, independence, and positive learning behavioursThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working with KS2 pupilsIs confident supporting children with additional needs or behavioural challengesDemonstrates patience, resilience, and strong communication skillsIs able to build positive relationships with pupils and staffHas a proactive and flexible approach to supporting learningPrevious experience in a provision, SEN setting, or behaviour support role is highly desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
