Position: Terminal Operator Location: Vasiliko, Larnaca – Cyprus Industry: Oil Storage No. of Vacancies: 5 Role Overview The Terminal Operator will be responsible for executing and monitoring day-to-day terminal operations related to the receipt, storage, and transfer of petroleum products. The role requires hands-on equipment operation, adherence to safety and environmental protocols, and coordination with multiple internal teams to ensure seamless operations. The job demands technical understanding, physical stamina, and strict compliance with operational standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities Operate and supervise terminal equipment for receiving, storing, and dispatching petroleum products. Monitor loading and unloading operations ensuring safety and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of pumps, tanks, valves, and pipelines; identify and report abnormalities. Maintain accurate operational records, logs, and compliance documentation. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Coordinate with control room, logistics, and maintenance teams for uninterrupted operations. Participate in emergency drills, safety practices, and housekeeping activities. Requirements Qualifications & Experience Education: Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related fields). Experience: 1–3 years in oil storage terminals, refineries, or related industries preferred. Age Limit: Up to 28 years Gender: Male Language: English (B1–B2 level – good spoken & written communication). Computer Literacy: Basic (emails, browser, MS Office). Additional Advantage: Previous experience as an operator in oil storage/refinery terminals.
