Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in WN3 (Wigan) who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their dynamic team, starting in September 2025. This is a long-term, full-time role that offers an excellent chance to make a lasting impact on the education and development of young learners.
About the role:
* Start-date: 1st September
* Opportunity to earn £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience/pay scales)
As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the curriculum. You will create a positive, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment that encourages the academic, social, and emotional growth of each child. Your role will involve assessing students' progress, providing feedback, and tailoring your teaching approach to meet the needs of individual students, including those with special educational needs. Additionally, you will manage classroom behaviour, promote a positive school ethos, and engage with parents to keep them informed of their child’s development. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school events will also be key elements of the role.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
* Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passion for teaching and a commitment to the success of every student
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
