The Assistant Head of Pre-Prep works in close collaboration with the Head of Pre-Prep to support the strategic leadership, pastoral care and
academic development of the Pre-Prep. The role combines leadership responsibility with a passion for Early Years education and plays a key
role in promoting the Pre-Prep to prospective families and the wider community.
Alongside the role a Assistant Head, this role will combine teaching Early Years and Key Stage 1 education. The postholder will contribute to
an approach that is creative, research-informed and child-centred, ensuring learning is engaging, purposeful and developmentally
appropriate. While flexibility to teach across the Prep School is required, the ideal candidate will have particular expertise and enthusiasm for
Early Years, especially Reception, and a commitment to continually evolving practice.
