Gecko Travel Recruitment are thrilled to be working exclusively with this award winning specialist travel company based in Surrey who are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
As Accounts Payable Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of accounts payable activities. The position includes tasks involving invoices, credit cards, reconciliations, and other general finance duties.
Previous experience in a similar accounts payable role working with multi currencies is essential for your application to be considered.
The role:
* Checking supplier invoices and logging them
* Preparing payment runs and inputting into the weekly cashflow forecasts
* Managing the accounts mailbox
* Liaising with suppliers and various internal teams regarding supplier payments and queries
* Dealing with bank reconciliations
* General administration tasks across the department
You will have:
* Previous experience in a similar accounts payable role
* Experience working with multiple currencies
* Strong administration skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and accurate written and spoken English
* Ability to resolve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines
