Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the lettings process, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently and effectively.
This position requires strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities, making it essential for maintaining positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and colleagues.
Duties
* Assist in managing the lettings process from start to finish, including property viewings and tenant applications.
* Maintain accurate records of properties, tenants, and viewings within our database.
* Communicate effectively with landlords and tenants regarding property details, tenancy agreements, and any queries they may have.
* Coordinate property viewings and ensure that properties are presented well for potential tenants.
* Handle administrative tasks such as preparing tenancy agreements, processing applications, conducting reference checks.
* Be able to organise repairs and maintenance tasks
* Monitor expiry dates of proeprty certificates (Gas Safe, Electrical Installation Conditions Reports, HMO/Selective Licences etc)
* Provide support in marketing properties through various channels to attract potential tenants.
* Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure that properties are well-maintained and any issues are addressed promptly.
Skills
* Proven administrative experience within a lettings or property management environment is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
* Multilingual abilities are an advantage, enabling effective communication with a broader range of clients.
