Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily site activities across SSE projects, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
* Operate under CAT3 Authorisation, maintaining control of works in accordance with SSE safety rules and procedures.
* Ensure full compliance with RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work.
* Oversee civil works (ducting, trenching, reinstatement, joint bays, substations, concrete bases) and/or electrical works (cable installation, terminations, plant installation) depending on bias.
* Monitor subcontractors and operatives to ensure quality standards and productivity targets are achieved.
* Deliver toolbox talks, daily briefings, and safety stand-downs as required.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks in line with ITPs.
* Maintain accurate site records including diaries, progress updates, and permit documentation.
* Identify hazards and implement corrective actions in live operational environments.
* Liaise with Site Manager, SSE representatives, and other stakeholders to coordinate works.
