Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Care Assessor to work with a Greater Manchester Local Authority on a temporary basis. The role sits within the authority’s Early Support and Advice Hub (ESAH), within Adult Social Care.
The focus of the team is on maximising independence, reducing risks, and helping people remain living in their own homes for as long as possible.
Main Duties
* Responding to referrals and gathering vital information to provide early help and advice
* Promoting independence and supporting people to remain at home safely
* Working as part of a rota covering 7 days a week (7.30am to 7pm), including weekends and bank holidays
* Maintaining strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners
* Receiving regular supervision, training, and support for ongoing development
Essential Criteria
* Prior experience in an Adult’s Social Care setting, assessing care plans
* Ability to work effectively with a strength-based, person-centred approach
* Full UK driver’s license
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to meet the spoken English requirements of this customer-facing role
