Part-Time Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Location: Rotherham | Part‐time (3 days per week)
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 FTE (pro rata, dependent on experience)

We are seeking a part‐time HCPC‐registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a specialist inpatient service supporting adults with complex mental health and co‐morbid presentations.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, delivering excellent psychological care to individuals presenting with complex needs, including (but not limited to):
* Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
* Complex trauma
* Personality disorders
* Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
* Disordered eating
* Depression, OCD and self‐harm
This post is open to:
* Experienced psychologists well established in their careers, and
* Recently qualified psychologists looking to develop expertise within a specialist inpatient environment.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in embedding psychological thinking across the multidisciplinary team and in supporting patients and families through assessment, formulation and intervention. Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering specialist psychological interventions in individual, group and family formats
* Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, assistant psychologists, therapeutic support workers and autism champions
* Supporting vulnerable adults to develop skills and resilience in preparation for life beyond hospital
* Contributing to a psychologically informed culture across the service
You will receive regular supervision from a Consultant or Senior Clinical Psychologist and be part of a supportive and expanding psychological therapies service with strong peer support. xxuwjjq
Clinical Experience & Therapeutic Approaches
This post would suit motivated and compassionate psychologists with experience in, or a strong interest in:
* Inpatient and/or forensic mental health settings
* Eating disorders and complex co‐morbid presentations
* Trauma‐focused CBT, CBT‐ED, DBT, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
* Adapting psychological interventions for neurodivergent adults

This is primarily an on‐site role, reflecting the relational nature of inpatient psychological work.
