We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) to join the paediatric nursing team within the National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland. This is a part time (22 hours) secondment post, for 12 months.
Around 75 babies are born in Scotland each year with a cleft lip and/or palate, and referred to the National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland. This is an exciting new opportunity to work within the Multi-disciplinary team. The post-holder will be hospital based, you will carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare, or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinical Nurse Specialists. If you have an interest in cleft lip and palate and have a caring, friendly disposition, are a team player and possess good interpersonal and organisational skills, we would like to hear from you. Training will be provided and there will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, specific to your needs.
