Purpose of Position
Diamond mounting, providing technical support and advice.
Responsibilities
Mounting
1. Mounting new stock and bespoke pieces
2. Altering existing stock and customer pieces
3. Repairing, resizing
4. Problem solving, finding solutions to designs
5. Ensuring jobs are completed on time, including working to tight deadlines
6. Giving technical and practical advice to workshop team
7. Supporting the sales team
8. Be responsible for jobs from start to finish including organising and tracking hours
Qualifications & Experience
9. Broad range of traditional Diamond mounting skills including back holing gallery work, claw set and collets
10. Experience working with gold and platinum
11. Experience in creating masters and working with castings
12. Knowledge of mechanisms, removable fittings, snaps, articulation
