Salary: £39,000 – £59,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch break)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Video Games Translators - Japanese to German, French, Spanish or Italianto contribute to the localisation of a wide range of content, including video games, websites, mobile apps, and product packaging, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and linguistic quality for German, French, Spanish or Italianspeaking markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate and proofread video game content and related media from Japanese into German, French, Spanish or Italian
* Collaborate with editors, project coordinators, and localisation managers to ensure consistent high-quality translations
* Work on a variety of media formats and platforms, maintaining brand tone and style
* Manage glossaries and translation memories
* Ensure deadlines are met across multiple simultaneous projects
Candidate Requirements
* Native-level German, French, Spanish or Italian +fluency in Japanese
* Previousvideo game translation experience - essential
* Strongattention to detail and cultural nuance
* Experience withCAT tools, especially MemoQ, and ability to learn new software
* Proficient inMicrosoft Word and Excel
* Creative, collaborative, and able to work under pressure in a team environment
* Experience with managing existing glossaries and localisation workflows
