IPSS Manager – London
This role is with a well-established and highly regarded European intellectual property firm known for its integrated approach to IP protection and enforcement. The firm combines the expertise of attorneys and solicitors to provide clients with a full-service offering across the IP lifecycle.
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IP Support Services Manager to lead a key operational team within the firm. This position is responsible for the management, quality and continuous improvement of the IP Support Services (IPSS) department, working closely with senior leadership and team co-ordinators. The department covers core functions including EP validation, renewals and docketing across patents and trade marks.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage all aspects of the IPSS team, improving efficiency, reducing risk and enhancing service delivery
2. Line management of team co-ordinators and specialists, including recruitment, training, performance and resource planning
3. Oversee training and development across the department, supporting multi-skilling and succession planning
4. Ensure performance against SLAs and monitor team compliance with internal processes and documentation
