Job Description:
Sodexo is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Financial Administrator to support our crown accounting and administrative functions at RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, OX18 3LX. In this role, you will provide accurate financial processing, ensure compliance with all company and legislative requirements, and deliver exceptional service to our clients and customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial administration or bookkeeping experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Process catering claims, invoices, and transfer accurate data between systems
* Manage catering requests and ensure adherence to entitlement guidelines
* Monitor account expenditure and produce weekly reports
* Meet weekly and month-end deadlines
* Maintain strong client and customer relationships
* Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally
* Attend team meetings, briefs, and performance reviews
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
* Use all resources, equipment, and materials responsibly
* Report near misses, accidents, and equipment issues to management
* Ensure effective communication with your line manager, team, client, and customer
* Support continuous improvement and complete required training
* Carry out any additional reasonable tasks requested by management
What You Bring:
Essential:
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Experience in financial administration or bookkeeping
* Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Customer-focused with a helpful and proactive approach
* Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including telephone handling
Desirable:
* Experience working in a military environment
* Previous client-facing experience
* Experience using SharePoint
