Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive in education? An exciting opportunity awaits you in Blandford Forum! GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join a local school as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA) immediately.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to students with behavioural, emotional, or social needs.
* Collaborate with teachers, TAs, and pastoral teams to implement effective behaviour strategies.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Encourage resilience, confidence, and personal growth in students.
* Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and reports.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting is essential.
* A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people and promoting positive outcomes.
* Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour support, youth work, or special educational needs are advantageous.
To work with GSL Education as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you should:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
* Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
