We are supporting TATA Steel with a permanent opportunity for an Electrical Craft Team Member to join their Hartlepool works. Hartlepool works produce around 220,000 tonnes of tube product annually which is utilised within the construction, energy, infrastructure and engineering sectors.
Role: Electrician (Electrical Craft)
Location: TATA Steel, Hartlepool Works, Brenda Rd, Hartlepool TS25 2EG
Rate: £42,238 basic (Inclusive of shift allowance) rising to £46,395 upon demonstration of site specific competencies + quarterly bonus
Shifts: X4 on X4 off shift pattern. This includes X2 days, X2 nights and X4 off. (12 hour shifts)
Start: ASAP but pending the successful result of a medical assessment. (This does include a drug and alcohol test)
Responsibilities:

Ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across the plant

Performing planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime
*
Troubleshooting relay control circuits, AC/DC motors, and various types of drives
*
Conducting basic PLC fault finding on Siemens S7 300, 1200, and 1500 systems

Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and working with computerized maintenance management systems (MMS)
