Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Laundry Operatives based in the Fakenham area. Own transport is essential due to site location. We are seeking hardworking and reliable workers to join our team in a busy laundry environment. You will be responsible for handling, sorting, washing, drying, and finishing laundry items to a high standard. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Duties and responsibilities: Sorting & Loading: Sorting dirty laundry by type, colour, or cleaning requirements; loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers. Operating Equipment: Using commercial laundry machinery including washers, dryers, folders, and presses (training provided). Folding & Packing: Folding, pressing, and preparing clean laundry for dispatch or delivery. Quality Control: Inspecting items for cleanliness, damage, or staining; identifying items needing rewash or repair. Health & Safety: Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times, including safe manual handling and use of PPE.
