Logistics Manager needed in Bracknell, Berkshire * Duration: 2 days * Working Hours: 07:20 – 17:30 (9.5 hours paid per day) * Rate: £23.00 per hour (CIS) We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager to support a live construction site based in Bracknell. This is a 2 day job, specificallyfor this Thursday and Friday only. This role would suit an experienced and organised logistics professional who is confident managing site movements, deliveries, and a small team. As the Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that materials are delivered and distributed efficiently, and that all vehicle movements are coordinated safely and in line with site requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and coordinate all deliveries to and from site, ensuring accurate timing and minimal disruption to operations * Supervise and manage two on-site Vehicle Marshalls, providing direction and ensuring adherence to safety standards * Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers to streamline logistics and traffic flow * Ensure all documentation relating to deliveries is completed accurately and in a timely manner * Maintain a safe and organised delivery and unloading area in accordance with health and safety protocols * Report any issues or delays promptly to the Site Manager and implement corrective actions where necessary Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must hold the following valid certifications: * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential * Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman Ticket – Essential * Valid CSCS Card – Essential * First Aid at Work Certificate – Essential * Prior experience working as a Logistics Manager or Traffic Manager on construction sites is highly desirable * Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities This is a fantastic opportunityand Immediate start is available for the right candidate.
