* Location: Nottingham Forest Football Club
* Salary: £40,000 per annum + excellent bonus and benefits
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, occasional weekends
About the Role
Sodexo Live! offers an exciting opportunity for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team at Nottingham Forest Football Club. Your goal will be to elevate our Conference & Events (C&E) strategy to new heights.
As our Business Development Manager, you will leverage your proven success in acquiring new business and your understanding of the UK market to develop strong, profitable relationships. You will lead by example, develop the onsite sales team, and foster a culture focused on maximizing revenue and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Maximize revenue by actively promoting the venue's conference and banqueting facilities.
* Create exceptional client experiences from initial inquiry to post-event feedback.
* Build a strong pipeline of new business to meet and exceed targets.
* Develop and lead the onsite sales team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
* Work closely with the wider Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events team and the Head of Sales to identify growth opportunities.
* Promote best practices in sales processes and CRM tools like Salesforce and Priava.
Candidate Profile
* Proven success in proactive sales, ideally within a venue or hospitality setting of similar scale.
* Strong commercial awareness to drive sales in a target-driven environment.
* Self-motivated with initiative to generate sales ideas.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
* Experience implementing sales best practices and innovations.
* Budget management and sales performance measurement experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
* Knowledge and interest in the catering industry is beneficial.
* Understanding of the local market.
* Excellent research, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Experience developing proactive sales and marketing initiatives.
* Strong negotiation skills.
