Daily Duties
8. Lead the design and delivery of retail architecture projects from concept through to completion
9. Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams
10. Act as project lead on large food‑shopping retail schemes, ensuring client expectations and quality standards are met
11. Prepare and review architecturally detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
12. Attend client meetings, design reviews and site visits to drive project outcomes
13. Mentor and guide junior architects and designers within the team
14. Ensure compliance with RIBA stages, building regulations and industry best practice
Ideal Candidate
15. RIBA Part III qualified with significant UK experience in retail architecture and commercial projects
16. Proven capability in leading large‑scale design projects, particularly within food shopping or retail sectors
17. Strong technical and design skills with excellent attention to detail
18. Confident communicator with the ability to engage clients and lead project teams
19. Self‑motivated, organised, and able to manage competing priorities
20. Proficient in architectural software including Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools
21. A proactive team player with a collaborative approach to design and delivery
