An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and friendly administration clerk to join our Community Midwife Administration Team. Bradford maternity service is a busy and dynamic service that supports the women of Bradford through the journey of pregnancy and birth. We are a busy and acute division with many challenges, and we need the support of our multidisciplinary workforce to enable a high standard of care to be provided. The successful applicant will have: Good administration experience, NHS experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given Excellent customer service skills Ability to prioritise the demands of a busy environment Work autonomously, and be able to prioritise and work well within a team Be able to communicate effectively with members of the public over the phone. Detailed job description and main responsibilities To assist with workload providing administrative support including filing, photocopying, mail management To effectively communicate with patients and staff To input clinical/administrative data such as referrals and appointments To maintain efficient office systems To effectively and efficiently administer and maintain all relevant IT systems
