Foreman - Aviation / Civils Gatwick Airport An experienced Foreman is required to support the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure works at Gatwick Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term aviation project and play a key role in delivering high-profile civils works within a live operational airport environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily site operations across civils and infrastructure works Coordinate site teams, plant, labour, and subcontractors Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with airport and HSE regulations Monitor progress against programme and report updates to site management Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and inspections Maintain high standards of quality control and housekeeping Ensure permits, RAMS, and site documentation are correctly implemented Liaise with engineers, management teams, and operational stakeholders on site Identify and resolve on-site issues to maintain productivity and programme delivery Requirements Previous experience working as a Foreman within civil engineering or infrastructure projects Experience within live environments such as airports, highways, rail, or utilities is highly advantageous Strong understanding of health & safety and site supervision responsibilities Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple work activities SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred CSCS card essential Strong communication and leadership skills What's on Offer Long-term secured work at Gatwick Airport Competitive salary / day rate package Opportunity to work on major aviation infrastructure projects Stable pipeline of future works Career progression within a growing project environmentThis role is ideal for a hands-on Foreman with a strong civils background who enjoys working in fast-paced, technically challenging environments and can lead teams effectively on complex infrastructure schemes.
