Job Overview
Newham Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is part of the East London NHS Foundation Trust and provides community‑based services for children and young people up to the age of 18 years. The service is made up of multidisciplinary teams including the Neurodevelopment Team, Adolescent Mental Health Team, Emotional and Behavioural Team, Paediatric Liaison Team and Mental Health Schools Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a “Front of House” receptionist role, answering calls and managing queries while welcoming young people and their families to York House.
* Offer general administration to all CAMHS clinicians, managers and their teams.
* Work independently in a busy and demanding environment, exercising initiative and the ability to multi‑task.
* Liaise effectively with a broad range of professions while maintaining client confidentiality.
* Cover other administration staff across several locations when required.
Accountable & Responsible For
* Provide a comprehensive administrative service including processing all reports, correspondence and documentation.
* Efficiently collect, input and record case‑management data in line with service requirements.
* Identify and resolve data entry issues.
