A growing AI-driven SaaS company is hiring an Engineering Lead to lead delivery and technical direction while remaining hands-on. This role suits a senior engineer or DevOps lead ready to step into people leadership.
As an Engineering Lead, you’ll lead a small cross-functional team, own technical delivery, and work closely with senior stakeholders to scale a secure, high-quality platform.
Responsibilities
* Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable software
* Remain hands-on with complex technical work and code reviews
* Manage, mentor, and develop engineers
* Own sprint planning, backlogs, and agile delivery
* Ensure strong AWS infrastructure and DevOps practices
* Support AI, automation, and CI/CD initiatives
* Embed security best practices and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
* 8-10 years’ engineering experience; 2+ years in a leadership role
* Strong AWS, DevOps, and cloud-native experience
* Proficient in Java and Python
* Experience with agile delivery and SaaS products
* Understanding of AI, MLOps, and automation
* Strong communication and stakeholder skills
* Comfortable supporting US-based customers
Nice to have: Startup experience, Azure exposure, UX awareness
