We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is a committed practising Catholic and inspires and motivates children to achieve their best.
The well-being of all our children is paramount in all that we do.
We need a person with excellent leadership skills and can evidence their successful part in school improvement and change.
The Governing Body of Holy Family RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who will work closely with the very supportive Governing Body in its clear aspiration for ongoing improvement in teaching and learning. The candidate will work with the Headteacher to further the achievements of our Catholic school.
Please note: The successful candidate appointed to the substantive Deputy Head Teacher post will be required to act on an interim basis as Head of School for the academic year 2026/27, following the retirement of the current Head Teacher in August 2026. The Individual School Range (ISR) for the Head of School role will be reviewed prior to the start of the 2026/27 academic year

•Fosters strong partnerships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the local community to provide an environment where all are supported to achieve their full potential.
•Has a good sense of humour, a positive disposition and the enthusiasm to support the Headteacher and Governors in leading and managing the school.
