Duties of a Service Advisor
* Welcome customers and handle inquiries promptly and professionally
* Schedule service appointments and monitor vehicle repairs
* Act as a liaison between customers and the service department to ensure seamless operations
* Provide accurate information regarding services, costs, and timelines
* Recommend additional services and upsell where appropriate based on customer needs
* Address customer concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism as a Service Advisor
* Maintain detailed customer records and logs of service transactions
* Support the service team with administrative tasks as required
Requirements of a Service Advisor
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for customer engagement
* Enthusiasm for the automotive industry, with a basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
* Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills through training
* Previous experience in customer service or motor trade advantageous but not essential; trainees are encouraged to apply
